Saddened to hear that David Cameron has announced that private credit rating companies will be paid for bounty hunting benefits fraudsters.

Completely agree that the estimated £1.5billion pa benefits fraud has to be curtailed. But saddened that no mention of the estimated £15billion pa of tax fraud as per National Fraud Authority. Where’s the sense of proportion. Both should be fixed but frankly tax evasion is 10 times the size of problem and should be the priority.

As a law abiding tax payer I want both fixed so that those on genuine benefits can be sure it’s fair and safe from cuts and that those cheating on tax know they’ll get caught.

It’s hard to my read pay slip and wonder how so much tax evasion can still be happening.
